Kondo Isami (1834-1868)
He was a captain of the strong samurai group, "Shinsengumi",
which was organized to guard Kyoto.
Because some samurai people had been rebelling against force
of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
Isami and all the members of Shinsengumi went on excluding people
who had that kind of idea.
